Kuwait is an up and coming destination for many travelers, whether they plan to visit for tourist purposes, for work, or otherwise. However, there is one important factor to keep in mind before traveling to Kuwait: the visa.
One of the most frequently asked questions is, Do you need to have a Kuwait visa for Andorran citizens?
The answer to that is yes, all Andorran citizens need a visa in order to legally enter Kuwait. There are many different kinds of visas for Kuwait, such as the tourist visa, business visa, visitation visa, and more. The simplest and most common visa is the tourist visa – the best news is that the process for obtaining a Kuwait electronic visa (also known as an evisa) is quick, simple, and easy.
In fact, it is possible to get your Kuwait visa for Andorran citizens from the comfort of your own home. This means there is no need to visit an embassy, no need to wait in line, and no need to have an in-person interview. The process can be done entirely online and in less than 30 minutes – and we’ll walk you through the steps and how to apply.
Requirements for Andorran Citizens
As mentioned before, the process for obtaining a Kuwait eVisa is simple and there are only a handful of Kuwait visa requirements for Andorra citizens. They include the following:
- A valid Andorran passport – All travelers must have a valid passport issued by the Andorran government with at least 6 months’ validity. However, we recommend having more than 6 months’ validity so that there will be no problems at the border
- Personal information – When filling out the application, all travelers will need to provide information about themselves. This includes their personal information (address, contact information), their occupation and employment, information about their passport, and their travel details and itinerary
- A Phone, tablet, or computer – In order to fill out the application, travelers will need a device with internet access, such as a phone, tablet, or computer
- A valid form of payment – Finally, travelers will need a valid form of payment, such as a debit or credit card, to pay the Kuwait evisa application fees
Apply for the Kuwait eVisa from Andorra
The final step in acquiring an e-Visa to Kuwait is to fill out the online application form.
This form takes less than one hour to complete and will ask you a few simple questions about yourself (such as your full name, date of birth, and nationality), your contact information (email and current address), and your passport information (passport number and expiration date).
Afterward, you will need to pay the application fee and wait for a notification in your email inbox. It takes an average of 3 business days to process the Kuwait visa, but may take more due to demand or other factors. Once your evisa is approved, we recommend printing out a copy and keeping it stored with your passport. When you arrive at the border, the immigration officer will ask you to see both documents.
Please note that the Kuwait evisa is a single entry visa that allows the traveler to spend a maximum of 90 days (3 months) in Kuwait. The visa validity begins from the date of entry into the country, and the visa holder must leave Kuwait before it expires. It is possible to extend the validity by visiting a local immigration office and paying an extension fee.
Kuwait visa on arrival for Andorrans
Besides applying for an evisa online, it is also possible for Andorran citizens to receive a visa on arrival. A visa on arrival works like this: the traveler arrives in Kuwait, visit the visa kiosk in the airport, submits a few documents, pays the visa fee (3 Kuwaiti dinar), and receives their visa on the spot.
Although this process sounds easy, we recommend applying for an evisa in advance rather than taking a chance and obtaining your visa on arrival. Having a visa beforehand saves you precious time – many travelers have been stuck in line for their visa on arrival, which can take hours during peak times. Likewise, you will be ready to go when you arrive in Kuwait, without the need to find the kiosk, take out the visa fee money, and wait with other travelers – so you can go to your hotel and relax instead of stressing out.
